Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan Launched “Go Green” Package

Sanya, Hainan Island, China, 17 March, 2016 –After a successful Earth Hour Events and in anticipation for the upcoming Earth Day, Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan launched a new “Go Green” Package the first of its kind Sanya. With an ever-growing awareness for environmental protection going green is more than just a trend. The resort hopes to make a positive contribution to the environment, in educating guests on simple energy saving solutions. All while giving guests a memorable vacation experiencing.  

Guests who book this package will enjoy a green pack upon check-in. The green pack includes an environmentally tote bag with the resort iconic green leaf pattern, a glass bottle which can be refilled daily with locally sourced Longan Tea and Mangosteen Tea. The both teas are great for breathing the Sanya. The pack also comes with a “Consume Less, Enjoy More” Challenge card. The challenge card lists environmental friendly tasks that guest can go to setter around the resort. Tasks include planting tree seedlings, making recycled crafts, not changing bed linens and towels and reducing food waste. The package is also inclusive of breakfast for two adults and two children and 30% of on F&B consumption.  Rooms for the package start from RMB 883 per room per night, which subject to 15% service charge.  

The launching of the “Go Green” Package is taking the resorts recreation activities to a new height. Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan has been providing a variety of recreation activities to the guests since it opened in October at 2014.
