Harbin, China, 6 March 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin and Kerry Wines will launch a series of Australian wine promotion activities consisting of wine tasting and wine dinners offering vintage wine from the Australian fine wineries of Kaesler, Yarra Yering and Warramate. These three wineries, all rated five-star by Australia’s famous sommelier, James Halliday, are exclusively distributed by Kerry Wines in Greater China.
“Kerry Wines” is a fine wine company run by the Kerry Group, the parent company of the Shangri-La hotel group, and has a strong presence in the APAC region. Although relatively new to the high-end wine industry, the company is very picky about its wine quality and employs many outstanding sommeliers. Most of its wines are directly procured from the wineries of reliable vintners. Despite their high-end taste, the wines are normally priced lower than market price.
This wine promotion is sponsored exclusively by Kerry Wines, which has invited Australian winery ambassador Ms. Sarah Macmahon to share her knowledge on viniculture and wine tasting with the guests during the events. The activity schedule is as follows:
Wine Tasting (maximum of 20 people):
8 – 10 p.m., 12 March 2014
