Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin Launches the Last Leg of Harbin Culinary Circle Event

Harbin, 16 November 2015 – Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin launched the last leg of the Harbin Culinary Circle event on 6 November 2015.  With the partnership of Harbin’s four five-star hotels, including Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin; Sofitel Wanda;  Kempinski Hotel; and Wanda Realm, the event started on 16 October 2015, offering privilege buffet dinner prices at RMB188 per person for one month.  The guests enjoyed international luxury cuisines at value-for-money prices at these four luxury hotels throughout the month – just like a dream come true.
The event started at Sofitel Wanda, and shifted to another hotel with an opening ceremony.  The executive chefs from the four hotels showed up at the ceremony, presenting guests their signature dishes to offer international cuisines that can be said to be of the highest standards in Harbin.  As the last stop of this food journey, Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin elevated the event to a climax.
On the event, all seats were occupied by eminent guests at Coffee Garden.  Not only was there a demonstration of the five-star hotel chefs’ excellent cooking skills, but also the participation of the general managers, together with their management teams.
Chef Jeffrey Jim from Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin presented authentic Singapore cuisine; Chef Philippe from Sofitel Wanda Hotel offered romantic French dinner; Chef Simon from Kempinski Hotel brought classic German cuisine; Chef James from Wanda Realm Hotel offered the unique flavours of Thai and Indian cuisines.  The guests gathered with delicious international dishes and toasted with cheers in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
The Harbin Culinary Circle event attracted several in-house and local guests since it began on 16 October 2015.  This 30-day culinary journey ended on 12 November 2016.  For guests who were not able to try the dishes, there is only less than a week to join this activity.  Recommended is the Ice City’s food gala.
