Chef Andrea Magnano
Chef Andrea has over 21 years of culinary experience that was gained in many countries by serving in different positions in the kitchens of famous restaurants and five-star hotels. During his time in Australia, he has been invited to cook at the Parliament House in Melbourne for the Master of Australian Food and Wine event. In addition to his achievements, he was also invited to the Italian Culinary Summit of Hong Kong in 2010 and 2012.
He has absorbed many gourmet cultures through his culinary journey, which has covered Spain, England, Dubai, Australia and more. In 2008, he opened his own restaurant in Italy. In 2010, his restaurant was selected as “Restaurant of the Year” by the Accademia Italiana della Cucina.
After that, Chef Andrea set sail again to Hong Kong to fine tune his international culinary skills. Prior to his new role at Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou, he was the group executive Italian chef at Armani/Aqua and Armani/Privé in Hong Kong.
