Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo Appoints Ryan Hoo As Director Of Food And Beverage

Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo has announced the appointment Mr. Ryan Hoo as Director of Food &Beverage in charge of Food & Beverage department, managing the overall operations and services of Shang Palace, Yi Café, Lobster Bar and Grill and hotelbanquets. 

Starting his hotel career in 1998, Ryan Hoo’s dedication and passion to hospitality industry has gained him rich working experience with various leading five-star hotels around the world including Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Muscat, Qingdao and Beijing.

From 2009 to 2011, Ryan held a position of Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai before he joined Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo in 2012. After working in this city for one year, he has become an ambassador of this developed port city. Decent, outgoing and modest, his personality is a perfect match for the city’s characteristic of “A city of culture and a gateway to the world” matches each other perfectly. With his passion for innovations and eye for detail, the food and beverage department at Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo will keep the leading position in the market.

In his spare time, Ryan Hoo is always a sports lover with a strong enthusiasm especially on golf. Apart from sports, he spends a lot of time to wine and dine around, from 5-star hotels to street food in all cities he has traveled in. At the same time, he loves dedicating himself into the Corporate Social Programs no matter when he was Dubai or in Ningbo.
