Changchun, China, April 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun’s 2014 Tea Roasting Festival kicked off on 11 April 2014 at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge, where guests may enjoy freshly roasted Baojing Gold Tea from Lv Dong Mountain in Hunan Province.
With the advent of spring, the air has been filled with the aroma of buds and flowers, making it a good time to try fresh tea.
Baojing Gold Tea is in green colour and famous for its varieties, ecology, fine workmanship and quality. It is planted using an excellent ecological method – no pesticides, chemical fertilisers, hormones or additives – making it a pure, natural healthy drink.
Baojing Gold Tea is full of aroma and has a unique taste. It contains twice the amino acids of other green teas.
Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun has always adhered to its corporate social responsibility and is committed to public welfare. The hotel cooperated with Kerry Group’s Baojing projects to find markets for Baojing’s agriculture products and sell its gold tea beyond the mountain, and pass on the love further.
Lv Dong Mountain is located in Baojing County in Hunan Province. It is a national 3A scenic area. A perennial mist “fairyland”, Lv Dong Mountain has mountain canyons, winters without cold, summers without heat. Its natural scenery and natural aura nourish the growth of tea tree. The essence of soil and water are conserved in every piece of green leaf.
To further promote Baojing Gold Tea, one senior tea roasting master and one tea master from Baojing County will present live tea roasting and tea art performance at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge until the end of April. Baojing Gold Tea will be available for guests’ enjoyment at the Lobby Lounge until the end of June.
