Starting February 2013, Shang Palace's all-you-can-eat deal features a wide variety of over 70 variety of traditional dim sum from our signature menu, including Steamed Shrimp Dumpling, Steamed Egg Custard Bun, and Steamed Pork Spare Rib with XO Sauce, all prepared by our Executive Chinese Chef Menex Cheung from Hong Kong.
The unique culinary art of dim sum originated from the Cantonese in southern China, and is characterized by it’s quality, variety and rich tastes. Shang Palace offers guests the freshest flavors of this Cantonese cuisine and the delicate tastes of traditional dim sum in a comfortable and modern Chinese atmosphere. The menu includes appetizers, soup, steamed snacks, fried food, vegetarian options, handmade rice flour rolls and desserts. Cantonese dim sum – steamed, fried or baked – require a skilled chef to make them truly authentic. The exclusive dim sum buffet includes a special serve of Pan-Fried Taro Cake, that combines an element a unique flavor to this traditional dish; the sweet Steamed Barbecued Pork Bun in Honey Sauce; and Pan-fried Shrimp Dumpling, in which has a wrap that literally allow you to see what is in the filling.
Guests can enjoy the weekend dim sum buffet, which features a wide selection of signature dim sum and appetizers, for RMB 128 per person. For reservations made one day in advance, the weekend dim sum buffet costs just RMB 98 per person for a minimum of two people.
