Discover the wonders of Yiwu
Founded in 520 AD, Shuanglin Temple in Yiwu marks the birthplace of the "Three Teachings in One" (Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism) ideology, pioneered by Fu Dashi with site selection by Bodhidharma and imperial decree by Emperor Wu of Liang. Designated among Zen Buddhism's "Five Mountains and Ten Temples" in the Southern Song Dynasty, it houses China's earliest iron pagoda from the Later Zhou period—a testament to millennia of Buddhist art and cultural fusion.
