Singapore Botanic Gardens 

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is home to some 3,000 species of tropical plant life. There is also a herbarium featuring close to 500,000 specimens. The Singapore Botanic Gardens has also been named the park in Asia based on feedback by travellers on online travel site, TripAdvisor in 2013.

The National Orchid Garden houses over 1,000 species of orchids, as well as 2,000 species of hybrid orchids.

Dempsey Hill 

Named after Commanding Offer General Sir Miles Christopher Dempsey who led the main British force that defended Singapore during WWII.
