Celebrate Italy’s rich culinary heritage and authentic Italian flavours with a selection of Pinsa, a traditional Roman-style hand-pressed pizza, at Trapizza.
The Pinsa, derived from the Latin term “pinsere” which means to press or spread with one’s hands, is a cross between a flatbread and a pizza, with a light and airy crust topped with ingredients commonly found on pizzas. Masterfully crafted with flour imported from Italy, the Pinsa boasts an egg-free and dairy-free crust made from wheat, soy and rice flour. The combination results in a light and more digestible base that contains neither fat nor sugar, and is crispy on the edges and pillowy soft on the inside.
An enticing array of 10 flavours, each inspired by a region of Italy, is available. From the classic Pinsa Romana to the Pinsa Napoli and Pinsa Calabrese, each flavour presents an authentic taste of its namesake area through its curated toppings, such as Parmigiano Reggiano and mortadella representative of the Bologna area, or guanciale and pecorino from the Romana area.
