Taxis are metered, with fares starting at RMB 14 from 5am to 11pm; and RMB 18 from 11pm to 5am.

Trains offer a reliable, efficient and scenic way of travelling within China.
You may travel in one of four classes: Soft Seat or Soft Sleeper with air-condition; and the Hard Seat or Hard Sleeper.
Shanghai is at the junction of the Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Hangzhou train lines.
Metro & Light Rail
Pudong Shangri-La is a 5-minute walk from the Lujiazui station on line 2, which connects with Hongqiao Airport and Pudong International Airport.
It also provides convenient access to People's Square, Jing'an Temple, East Nanjing Road and Zhongshan Park in Puxi (West Shanghai), and Zhangjiang High Technology Park and Century Park in Pudong (East Shanghai).
