Shangri-La Qufu has always aimed to influence more guests through its own practical actions, and to encourage its staff to contribute to society together and make contributions to charitable causes.

Make Our Dream Come True
Since its opening in August 2013, Shangri-La Qufu has designated Baicun Primary School as a long-term beneficiary of the hotel’s Humanity Care Project. Over the years, the hotel carried out various support activities with the school, including improving infrastructure for teachers and students and organizing a number of interactive experiences centered on Confucian culture.
In September 2025, due to the reorganization of rural schools, the teachers and students of Baicun Primary School were transferred to schools in nearby towns. Upholding the long-term and sustained nature of the Humanity Care Project, Shangri-La Qufu conducted on-site evaluations and selected Nishan Yihai Primary School—where most of the original Baicun Primary School students were relocated—as the new partner for the project. During the 2026 Spring Festival, the hotel invited some of its teachers and students to participate in a Confucian culture–themed interactive activity, “Morning Reading of The Analects.”
The event offered the children of Yihai Primary School an opportunity to interact with hotel guests and volunteers, while also helping to promote traditional Confucian culture.
The hotel will continue to advance the Humanity Care Project, providing strong support for the children’s learning and growth.
