How to Get Around Paris
To travel around in Paris you can use the metro, rent a bike, book a taxi or drive your car, although walking is usually the best way to explore Paris's streets. The six major train stations in the city are within easy reach of the hotel, while Iéna metro station is just a few minutes' walk away.
Taxis
Contact our Concierge to book a taxi pick-up. The fare depends on pick-up location, luggage and mileage.
Public Transport

Buses
Many bus lines pass close to the hotel. Line 63 goes to Gare de Lyon, line 32 to Gare de l'Est, line 82 to the famous Luxembourg Parc and line 72 to the Town Hall.

Subway
The Iéna Metro Station, on line 9, is located a few steps away from Shangri-La Hotel, Paris. The Trocadéro is only one station away from the hotel and the Champs-Elysées is two.

Trains
Train service in France is efficient, punctual and comfortable. The train is one of the best and popular ways of getting around the country. The four major train stations in Paris are Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord (for Eurostar), Gare Mantparnasse and Gare Saint Lazare.

All those stations are accessible by taxi, bus or subway. For your convenience, we advise you to contact our Concierge to assist you with your bookings.

Car Hire
You can drive a car in Paris if you are at least 18 years old with a valid driving license. Please contact our Concierge if you wish to rent a car.
Bike Rentals
“Vélib” is a public bike rental program in Paris, offering rentals for EUR 1.70 per day or EUR 8 per week. A “Vélib” station is just a short walk from the hotel on rue de Longchamp. Private companies also offer bike rentals for visitors.
