Information regarding the consumer mediator

According to article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute between a professional and a consumer, the latter must try to find an amicable solution. If no amicable solution can be found, the consumer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer conciliation body to which the professional belongs, within a period of one year from the date of the written complaint sent to the professional. In this case, the mediator is the Association of European Mediators (AME CONSO).
