Spa Etiquette & Things to Know
Preparing for Your Treatment
For ladies, no preparation is necessary - simply arrive at Shangri-La The Shard, London and enjoy your experience. Make-up removal is performed at the beginning of each facial treatment.
For gentlemen, we recommend shaving several hours prior to a facial for optimal comfort and results.
What to Wear
For facials and massages, no special clothing is required. You will be provided with appropriate spa wear, bathrobe, and slippers.
Your Comfort
Your comfort is our priority. Please let your therapist know if there is anything that can enhance your experience, such as adjusting pressure, music, lighting, or offering an extra towel.
Privacy
Your privacy is respected at all times. Your therapist will leave the room for you to change in private. During your treatment, you will be draped with linens covering all parts of the body except those being worked on.
Mobile Phones
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the wellness floor, please switch off or silence your mobile phone upon arrival.

Pre-Natal Treatments
Our Pre-Natal treatments are available from the 12th week of pregnancy onwards. Please inform our team at the time of booking to ensure suitable treatment options are offered.
Availability and Bookings
All treatments are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
Cancellation Policy
A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend, will incur the full treatment charge.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time for consultation and relaxation. Late arrival may result in a shorter treatment duration. Guests are kindly invited to check in at the Concierge Desk on the ground floor.
Health Considerations
Kindly inform the concierge team of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your treatment.
Children
Treatments are not available for guests under the age of 18.
