Community Wellbeing
In the month of June, 100 packed lunch sets were distributed to the underprivileged through Kechara Soup Kitchen - a not-for-profit and non-governmental organization serving marginalized communities in Malaysia for over 14 years.
Pink October
To support breast cancer awareness month and raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Malaysia, mammogram pledge to support women under the B40 groups to get tested, as early detection saves lives.
The hotel contributed 5% from the sales of the Pink Afternoon tea and goodies and full proceeds from Bowerhaus Pink Courage to the cause.

World Food Safety Day
Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur celebrated the annual World Food Safety Day on 7 June to draw attention and mobilize action to prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks and improve human health.
Flood Relief
Together with Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur provided essential items such as clothes, canned food, rice personal care items and more, to those who were affected by the recent floods.
