The Rasa Ria Reserve is a 64-acre coastal jungle at the foot of Sabah’s famous Mount Kinabalu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers guests the chance to connect with Sabah by discovering its culture, wildlife, and natural beauty up close.
The reserve is home to an incredible variety of life, including more than 90 species of birds, around 20 types of butterflies, and rare animals such as the endangered Pangolin, which is carefully protected here.
As both a sanctuary for wildlife and a living classroom, the Rasa Ria Reserve gives visitors the opportunity to learn about nature through immersive, hands-on experiences.
We are committed not only to protecting this delicate environment but also to preserving the cultural traditions of the local community, so that future generations may continue to enjoy and benefit from both.
