Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong is honoured to welcome Chef Ali Al Hajj, Executive Arabic Chef of Shangri-La Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as Guest Chef at Big Bay Café, presenting an exotic "Arabian Gastronomic Feast". To mark the hotel’s recent Halal certification by The Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong, Chef Ali will present over 30 authentic Middle Eastern delicacies, taking you on a flavourful exploration of Middle Eastern cuisine. With ingredients and cooking processes meticulously certified, you can savour the rich flavours of Arabic cuisine with complete peace of mind.
During his residency, Chef Ali will showcase signature dishes including Truffle Hummus with Nuts, Sumac-Cured Salmon Gravlax with Herbed Labneh, Live-Station Kebab Fattah (Traditional Middle Eastern Bread with Yogurt and Spices), Shrimp Beiruty with Capsicum Tomato Sauce and more, delivering an extraordinary gastronomic experience.
Following the savoury delights, Executive Pastry Chef Jérôme Husson will present globally acclaimed Dubai Chocolate* at the dessert station, the dessert selection also features traditional Middle Eastern sweets, providing the perfect sweet finale.
To complete the enchanting journey through Middle Eastern flavours, Big Bay Café will set the mood with soulful traditional Arabic music, whisking guests away to the golden dunes and lush oases of Arabia. At the entrance, an intricately designed Arabian-themed photo corner awaits, offering the perfect backdrop for unforgettable snapshots.
