Guilin boasts some of the "finest mountains and rivers under heaven." Two crystal-clear rivers meander through the city, which is encircled by hills with unusual and bizarre rock formations and caves.
This area is made up of Silver Hill, Yuyue Hill, Red Crown Crane Hill and Bright Moon Hill. It is named after its traversed rock layers, which resemble a piece of folded brocade. This was developed in the Tang Dynasty.
During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, many carved Buddhas on precipices appeared. This was also a meeting place for poets and painters during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Inside Fubo Hill there are 1,000 rock statues of Buddha and many carvings on the cave walls made during the Tang Dynasty.
The Li River is one of the placid water bodies in the country. Decorated by magnificent mountain ranges on its captivating banks, the river is a mystical sight to behold during the twilight hours of the day. It originates from the Mao’er Mountains and trickles down towards the south through Guilin.

The entire cave is approximately 240 meters long. A trip through the entire cave should last at least an hour to properly absorb the beauty of the place.
The park is near the east bank of the Li River and gets its name from the seven mountain peaks. It is the park in Guilin with an area of 134.7 hectares and has been popular with sightseers since the Sui and Tang Dynasties
