Penny Wang, a native from Xian, has been working for the Shangri-La group as a tour manager for 12 years. During this time, she has escorted over 5,000 guests on more than 1,500 visits to the Eighth Wonder of the World - the Terracotta Warriors. When asked about her personal ambition, Penny says, "I want to be a good ambassador for Shangri-La and my hometown".     

The hotel has received much positive feedback on Penny through letters and TripAdvisor comments. One guest said, "If you have the opportunity to go to Xian, then you must go to Shangri-La. With the guidance of Penny, you are sure to have a delightful tour of the ancient city".
