High-speed Rail
An efficient, reliable and scenic travel option within China, Xiamen is home to a high-speed rail system that links different parts of the country. Classes include Soft Seat or Soft Sleeper, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

Frequent high-speed trains connect Fuzhou and Wuyishan, the capital city of Fujian and famous tourist attraction, as well as daily schedules to key cities like Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and others.

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit)
Bus Rapid Transit has become a convenient public transportation option on Xiamen Island. BRT is inexpensive, with fares starting from CNY 1, though often crowded during peak hours.

Buses
The Xiamen bus system is extensive and inexpensive. Irregular service times and crowded buses, especially during peak times, may make the public buses a less desirable option for travel during your stay.
