Our immersive kids’ club, Rasa Fun activities and adult wellness programmes turn the resort into a tropical playground, while giving families space to reconnect. At the kids’ activity centre, children can learn about and explore local plants and animals through hands-on play and guided sessions.
To bring a taste of traditional Singapore to your table, our on-site herb farm supports Shangri-La’s Rooted in Nature programme. Each year our culinary team harvests over 40 kg of herbs and edible flowers – fresh laksa leaves for authentic Singapore laksa, fragrant pandan and lemongrass for nasi lemak, and curry leaves for chicken and fish curries. By prioritising local and sustainably sourced ingredients, the resort has been recognised by the Singapore Food Agency’s Farm-to-Table Recognition Programme.
Behind the scenes, we work to minimise food waste. The Winnow system – an AI-powered tool – helps chefs track, analyse and reduce kitchen waste, and used cooking oil is recycled into biodiesel, further lowering our footprint.
