Transportation
Get Around with Ease
Outside of a public bus service that connects to virtually every city or large town in Oman, there’s very little public transport available so if you want to explore everything the country has to offer, it's best to either hire a driver or get behind the wheel yourself.
Taxis

Marhaba is the taxi service provider in Oman and have its own mobile application. They are only allowed to pick up passengers from the airport and most hotels, and they only operate within Muscat.

Oman’s orange and white privately owned taxis are typically found along the main roads of every city and major town, but be warned they are not fitted with meters so you should agree on the fare with the driver before you start your journey. Alternatively consult the fare on their respective mobile application.

Public Transit
Oman’s public bus service links every part of the country, from the port city of Sohar in the north to Salalah in the south. These buses are operated by Mwasalat, Oman’s government-owned transport company, and are highly affordable.
By Car

Car rentals in Oman are reasonably affordable and their services are available everywhere, including airports. Keep in mind that you do need a driver’s licence (issued from your home country) and cars are driven on the right-hand side, meaning you overtake on the left.

Private Marina
The resort marina is for the exclusive use of our guests for boat/yacht pick up or drop off as well as meeting point for sea trips organized by the resort.
Resort Shuttle
The resort provides a shuttle service to and from the historic and shopping areas of Muscat. We recommend reserving seats one day in advance of the shuttle departure time you would like.
