To get around BGC and other districts, travellers have the option of hailing a taxi or arranging a private car. For your safety and convenience, a private car is recommended. Our hotel staff are on hand to ensure you arrive at your selected destination comfortably and on time.
Taxis
Taxis are plentiful throughout Manila, and are easy and economic for reaching your destination quickly and on time.
When possible, call for a cab beforehand or check with our hotel staff, who will be happy to help you hire a driver.
Majority of the taxis are metered. If a taxi is not metered, be sure to negotiate a price beforehand. Mobile app-based bookings are also available via Grab Car / Grab Taxi.
By Car
A private car is safe and comfortable for getting around Manila. Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila provides several options of cars for rent with a personal driver. Should you wish to rent a car to drive yourself, an international driving license is required.
