Kinabalu National Park
Home to Mount Kinabalu, the Kinabalu National Park is (Malaysia's first World Heritage Site) and is a paradise of flora and fauna which thrive in the cooler mountain air.

During certain seasons of the year, the famous Rafflesia, largest flower in the world, can be sighted in the park. The park is also a haven for pitcher plants, wild orchids and a multitude of moths, butterflies and bugs which make for a fascinating study.

Poring Hot Springs
Poring Hot Springs is a natural outlet for clear spring water heated deep inside the earth. Hot springs are believed to provide cures, and relieve pains and aches.

In addition to the hot spring pools, a trek along any of the trails at Poring will bring one alongside a fascinating display of flora, and sometimes, fauna. Not to be missed is the exciting Poring Canopy Walk.

White Water Rafting at Kiulu River
Kiulu River, located just 45 minutes from the resort, is a popular white-water rafting destination. A uphill drive brings guests to the starting points.

Kiulu River is the tamer of the two rivers nearby. The Padas River, which is a further 1 hour from the resort in the opposite direction, provides an extra challenge for more seasoned and adventurous rafters.

Proboscis Monkeys and Fireflies at Klias
Journey 108km from the resort to the Klias wetlands for a cruise down the river in an open boat in search of the proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, the rare silver languor, and other wildlife along the riverbank.

As dusk settles in with a sunset, enjoy the secret rhythm of fireflies and their flickering lights!
