ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Award (Category: Meeting Room) (2024-2026)

Shangri-La Rasa Ria has been honoured with the esteemed 9th ASEAN Green Hotel Standard and the distinguished 4th ASEAN MICE Venue Award in the Meeting Room category. The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2024, held in Vientiane served this momentous achievement under the theme "Quality Responsible Tourism: Sustaining ASEAN Future, further solidifying the resort's reputation as a pioneer in sustainable hospitality and exceptional event hosting.

ASEAN MICE Venue Award (Event Venue Category) (2026-2028)

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu has been honoured with the esteemed 5th ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award in the Outskirts Hotel category and the distinguished 2nd ASEAN MICE Venue Award in the Event Venue category. The theme for the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026, held in Cebu, Philippines from 28 to 30 January 2026, is "Navigating Our Tourism Future, Together". This theme aligns with the Philippines' 2026 ASEAN Chairmanship, focusing on regional cooperation, sustainable growth, and strengthening connectivity to enhance tourism recovery across Southeast Asia.
