Chef and Owner Gaggan Anand from the legendary Bangkok restaurant will take over Hung Tong on 23 March to present a one-day-only 10-course tasting dinner. His restaurant Gaggan has ranked among the world's top restaurants for years, renowned globally for its bold and avant-garde culinary philosophy. It has received two Michelin stars, earned the title of "Asia's Best Restaurant #1" four times, and once again topped "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" in 2025. The "Gaggan Tirreti Bazaar" themed menu draws inspiration from Indian street food culture, particularly from Chef Gaggan’s hometown of Kolkata, incorporating molecular gastronomy techniques with Chinese flavours to reinterpret classic snacks, with highlights include King Crab Chettinad Pepper Fry Kolkata Hot and Sour Fish Maw Soup, Crispy Chow Mein with Abalone, Morels, and Spiced X.O. Sauce and more. Each dish breaks traditional boundaries, bringing diners an immersive experience that combines visual, taste, and creative elements. The dining experience concludes perfectly with the signature dessert "Lick It Up," a creative treat adorned with vibrant colors from plant-based dyes, inviting diners to gleefully lick up the enticing paste from the plate for an ultimate taste bud revelry. The set menu includes selected wine pairings, priced at HKD 2,288* per person, with two dining sessions available.
