Inspired by fabled train journeys around Sri Lanka, Central invites you to embark on a culinary adventure, celebrating the vibrant flavors and aromas from the region.

The restaurant is centered around 16 live stations; each with a show kitchen that offers a departure from traditional buffets to a contemporary, made-to-order dining experience. Savor a variety of Asian dishes, including robust North Indian flavors, a medley of Southeast Asian cuisine, and exquisite offerings from the Japanese hot and cold counters. The Western terminal features a classic butcher’s board with prime cuts of meat, while the Italian section serves up home-style pasta and pizza. Local treasures, showcasing age-old recipes, are highlighted in the extensive Sri Lankan section.

Central's two semi-private dining rooms provide an intimate setting for celebrating with friends, family, or colleagues.

Children's Meal Plan:

For Shangri-La Circle members dining with their families, up to 2 children (under the age of 7) can enjoy complimentary buffet meals at all-day dining venues and Yum Cha at Shang Palace when accompanied by a paying adult. Additional children under the age of 6, and children aged 6 to 11, will enjoy a 50% discount off the adult price. Guests can enrol in Shangri-La Circle onsite or at any time during their stay to enjoy this offer but are encouraged to enrol prior to arrival. Children must be under 12 years of age.
