As part of rejuvenating the former factory site, around 10% of the original factory employees were rehired and retrained to join the hotel, with new roles across Human Resources, Engineering, Food and Beverage, and Security. By offering upskilling and long-term employment opportunities, the hotel helps former workers transition into the service industry while keeping local knowledge and pride rooted in the renewed Shougang Park.
