The Forbidden City

The Temple of Heaven is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties "worship the heaven" and "pray for the good harvest". and implies that "the heaven is round and the earth is square".

National Stadium

The National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest," served as the main venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the opening and closing ceremony venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics. It is the world's first "dual Olympic opening and closing ceremony venue." Beyond its role in sports and architecture, the Bird's Nest, as an iconic structure representing the national image, holds profound social significance. It has become a platform for international exchange and a crucial window to showcase China's image.

 

Olympic Park

The Olympic Park presents the world a unique cultural landscape, including a dragon-shaped water system, an assortment of sculptures, well-designed floral motifs and lampposts, etc. The sunken garden, at the depth of nine meters underground, combines traditional elements such as ancient Chinese imperial palace gates with modern architecture, creating an artistic conception of space and time of both the ancient and modern.

 

Beihai Park

Beihai Park located in the center area of Beijing, The formation and development of Beihai went through several dynasties of the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, carrying nearly a thousand-year of Chinese history and culture. It has formed the style of gardening art represented by the royal gardens, which is a masterpiece that unites the great achievements of gardening culture and art of all generations. Beihai is the oldest and most complete imperial palace so far preserved in China, with a unique style of gardening art, and is one of the most precious human cultural heritage and the refinement of ancient gardens in China.

 

Yanqi Lake

Located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain and the side of the Great Wall. In 1985, Yanqi Lake was approved by the Beijing Municipal Government as a key tourism development project in Beijing. In 2002, Yanqi Lake was designated as an international AAAA-class tourist scenic area. In 2014, the APEC APEC Leaders' Meeting was held in Yanqi Lake. In May 2017, the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was held here to discuss cooperation plans, build cooperation platforms and share cooperation achievements. At that time, Yanqi Lake became the focus of the world again.
