Yangzhou sits at the confluence of Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, in the south of Jiangsu Province.

Visas

All international travellers require visas although Brunei, Japan, and Singapore passport holders are able to enjoy visa-free access to China for up to 15 days.

Standard 30 days, single entry visa can be issued in three to five working days at most Chinese embassies, and must be used within three months of the date of issue.

Currency

Taxes

Public Health

Dress

Lightweight clothing is sufficient for spring and summer months. A sweater or a pullover is recommended during autumn, while winter requires heavy clothing like coats, hats and gloves.
