Yangzhou sits at the confluence of Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, in the south of Jiangsu Province.

The city is a cultural haven with historical assets dating back over 2,000 years. Endless waterways, tastefully landscaped gardens and diverse architecture have made Yangzhou one of China's top destinations.


All international travellers require visas although Brunei, Japan, and Singapore passport holders are able to enjoy visa-free access to China for up to 15 days.

Lightweight clothing is sufficient for spring and summer months. A sweater or a pullover is recommended during autumn, while winter requires heavy clothing like coats, hats and gloves.
