Taxis
All taxis in Xian are cheap and plentiful, and always on the lookout

Most taxis are metered with the same start up rate at RMB 6 for the
first 2 km, thereafter RMB 1.5 per kilometre.
Taxis are available at the hotel or may be hailed from the street.
Public Transit
Bus
The Xian bus system is both extensive and economical. However, please
note that service may be irregular and buses are often crowded during peak hours.
Trains
Trains offer an efficient, scenic way of travelling within China, and
link most parts of the country with reliable service.
You may
travel in one of four classes: Soft Seat or Hard Seat, or Soft Sleeper with
air-conditioning or Hard Sleeper.
Car Hire
Getting around the city in a car and a driver is a safe and comfortable
transport option. Rates start at RMB 450 (approximately USD 70) for the first
two hours, within Xian city limits.
