Chef Nicola, who was born and raised in Mola di Bari of southern Italy, brings the authentic taste of Italian cuisine into his culinary creations. Prior to joining Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya, he had been working as a chef since 1994 and has gained experience across various Italian restaurants and hotels in Italy and Singapore.

His interest in the field began when he was a kid and was greatly influenced by his father, who was also a chef in Italy, and by his grandmother’s classic recipes.

In carrying out his new duty as the head chef of Sapore Osteria, he will serve his classic family recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Children's Meal Plan

Golden Circle members: When accompanied by a dine-in adult, up to 2 children of registered in-house hotel guests at the age of 6 and below can enjoy buffet meals at the all-day dining venues at no additional charge. Additional children at the age of 6 and below and all children who are above 6 years of age but under 12 years of age will receive a 50% discount on the adult buffet price. Children of non-registered walk-in guests under the age of 12 will receive a 50% discount on buffet meals at the all-day dining outlets.
