Botanic Gardens
The Singapore Botanic Gardens is home to some 3,000 species of tropical plant life. There is also a herbarium featuring close to 500,000 specimens.
The National Orchid Garden houses over 1,000 species of orchids, as well as 2,000 species of hybrid orchids.
Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, is located within a short walking distance from the gardens.
