Meet the Sommelier

Mr. Tyler Chen, chief sommelier of Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, won third place at Shanghai’s International Sommelier Challenge competition in 2017. Tyler is WSET Level 3 and holds a Level I certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a sommelier certificate from the Asian Sommelier Association. In 2017, in accordance with Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai’s business and leisure needs, Tyler redesigned the wine list for The MEAT and The COOK, winning the Three Glass Award at China’s Wine List of The Year Awards. The new wine list retains its traditional options, but also includes wine produced by the biodynamics method, organic wine and from more wine regions, giving diners more wine and gourmet choices.

Children's Meal Plan

Children of registered hotel guests under the age of 6 can enjoy buffet meals at no extra cost in the All Day Dining venue when accompanied by a paying adult; up to 2 children. For more than 2 children under the age of 6 or children who are 6 years and above but under the age of 12, a 50% discount on the buffet price will be given. Buffet is subject to availability. For children’s physical and mental health, we’d like to suggest your child to enjoy the casual and comfort atmosphere at The BREW before 10pm.
