Le Louvre
A historical monument in its own right, the Louvre ranks among the finest museums in the world, and has long been associated with the prestige and grandeur of Paris. Visitors can get a lesson on Art History while browsing through artworks belonging to eras such as the Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Hittite and Elamite empires. Also famous for containing many distinctive works are the sections devoted to Greek, Etruscan and Roman antiquities.

The Palais Galliera
The Palais Galliera, the City of Paris Fashion Museum that opened in 1895, is located a few steps away from Shangri-La Paris. It hosts a few exhibitions around the history of fashion, from 18th century to the present day. The Palais is also known for its magnificent French garden where Parisians like to relax.

Musée d’Orsay
Located in a Beaux-Arts railway station built for the 1900 World's Fair, the Musée d'Orsay houses mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914 and famously holds the largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world.
