Public transport is easily accessible but walking is probably the best way to explore Paris' streets. The six major city train stations are within easy reach of the hotel, while the Iéna Metro Station is located within a few minutes' walk.

Buses
Many bus lines pass close to the hotel. Line 63 goes to Gare de Lyon, line 32 to Gare de l'Est, line 82 to the famous Luxembourg Parc and line 72 to the Town Hall.
Subway
The Iéna Metro Station, on line 9, is located a few steps away from Shangri-La Hotel, Paris. The Trocadéro is only one station away from the hotel and the Champs-Elysées is two.
Trains
Train service in France is efficient, punctual and comfortable. The train is one of the best and popular ways of getting around the country. The four major train stations in Paris are Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord (for Eurostar), Gare Mantparnasse and Gare Saint Lazare.

"Vélib" is a public bicycle rental programme in Paris. Visitors are able to rent a bike for EUR 1.70 per day or EUR 8 per week.
There is a "Vélib" station a short walk away from the hotel in rue de Longchamp.
