Jantar Mantar
Considered a great Indian masterpiece, the Jantar Mantar is
part of a series of five astrological buildings constructed by Maharajah Jai
Singh II. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five structures.
The 14 geometric devices of this remarkable structure were
extensively used to measure time, predict the behaviour of planets, forecast
weather and identify extraterrestrial altitude.
These structures not only showcase the impressive
architectural skills of the Indian people but also display their scientific
prowess.
