Serving Asian, Japanese, international and Indian fare from 5 interactive live kitchens, Tamra takes the culinary experience to another level with its "world on your platter" concept. The restaurant boasts delicious grilled specialities from the Far East, tandoori treats from Central Asia, the largest selection of exquisite shaken and stirred cocktails at a well-designed bar, unique homemade popsicles and ice cream, a healthy green island, and a fresh, flavoursome array of meats from a butcher's block. Shangtastic Dim Sum Lunch by Chef Ye Hai Jun 

Our dim sum master, Chef Ye Hai jun, has meticulously crafted the ShangtasticDim Sum LunchMenu, which features an assortment of dim sum, signature clay pot specialties and homemade ice cream for the patrons of Shangri-La’s - Eros Hotel, New Delhi.  

Dim sum means “touching the heart” in Cantonese, and the tradition, also known as yum cha, has developed over hundreds of years. It has its roots in providing of sustenance and facilitating rest and conversation.  

The menu celebrates premium seasonal ingredients and features more than fourteen all-time favourite dishes to satiate both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests.

Mister Chai


Located in the heart of the hotel, Mister Chai is the only lounge in the city that focuses on regional Indian street food in a modern luxurious setting. It has the elements of an Indian tea shop presented in a sophisticated ambience. Serving global plates at a fair price, Mister Chai is the ideal venue for meetings, family meals and friendly gatherings.  

Enclosed with a beautifully detailed brass balustrade, each bookend at Mister Chai is created with a unique design detail. Placed to the left sits a full height, gold leaf etched timber Tibetan prayer wheel, and to the right, an intricate screen of planter boxes. This quaint and luxurious element provides privacy to the guests from the main lobby. Brass shelving has been suspended delicately from the ceiling, displaying all the noteworthy worldly varieties on offer. Each feature adds its own distinctive detail to create the perfect ambience for guests to relax and savour the delicacies on offer. 

Offering a range of traditional varieties including Kawha, Masala Chai and Irani, the local tea and coffee brewing at the restaurant is infused with smells of ginger and cardamom that would take you down the memory lane of tastes provided by the original tea and coffee hawkers. 

The food selection, which draws inspiration from the streets of India, includes vada pao, samosas, cheese melts, falafel, nachos, sev puri and bun maska to satiate your craving for original Indian snacks.  

Mister Chai also offers patrons an assortment of elegant pastries, macaroons and handcrafted chocolates imbued with regional flavours. Mister Chai’s mini entremets include pastries such as Mango Passion, which is a combination of mango passion fruit cremeaux and passion fruit jelly in a nutty aam papad cake, Mister Chai Chocolate Texture, which is an amalgamation of feullentine crunch, chocolate cream and egg-free chocolate sponge cake, Apricot Compote, Peanut Chikki and many other diverse treats. A Food Connoisseur Who Brings Innovative Culinary Flair to His Kitchen

Executive Chef Neeraj Tyagi

Chef Neeraj Tyagi assumed the role of Executive Chef at Shangri-La’s - Eros Hotel, New Delhi, in June 2015. Chef Neeraj has more than 15 years of culinary experience and has worked in many renowned luxury hotels, including the Kempinski Hotel in Jordan, The Claridges Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi, The Welcome Group Marriott in New Delhi, The Grand in New Delhi, The Park Royal in New Delhi and The Amrutha Castle in Hyderabad.   

 Chef Neeraj’s cooking style is based on traditional techniques but blended with modern influences. He emphasizes simplicity, freshness and natural textures with cultural influences and specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. One of his strengths is discovering rare or unknown ingredients and implementing them in original recipes. His dishes showcase the finest cuts of meat and hard-to-find ingredients that are specially flown in from the remote parts of Europe.    

 Chef Neeraj further expanded his knowledge of food during a journey to Southeast Asia. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards. He was voted as one of the top 25 chefs by Hotelier India (February 2014) at the India Culinary Czar 2014. In 2017, Chef Tyagi was chosen as the runner up for the Executive Chef of the Year by Hotelier India and was also recognized by the prestigious BW Hotelier as the Executive Chef of the Year in the North Zone category. He has also been featured on many culinary shows on various TV channels, including Doordarshan, Pogo Channel, NDTV Good Times, Zee TV and Aaj Tak.    


Chef Neeraj has worked with The Garibaldi, Singapore; Hulhulle Island Hotel, Maldives; Princi London; and Ritz London, and also assisted Michelin-starred Chef Gennaro Vito with opening Toto’s, an Italian fine dining restaurant in London. He is passionate about gastronomy and has had the opportunity to closely work with world-renowned chefs, including David Fenstra of Molecular Gastronomy fame, Frans Dijksman, Dennis Out, Austrian Chef Markus Moser, Spanish Chef Jeorge Acereto and Chef Andreu Genestra.
