The Executive Pastry Chefs of the 3 hotels of Shangri-La Group in Hong Kong team up to craft an exquisite ultimate pink dessert – The Peony Blush - to show our support to Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry. Encasing in beautiful pink chocolate glaze, this decadent cake features layers of toasted coconut sponge, berries jelly, white chocolate crisp, zesty lime whipped ganache, all served on a crunchy biscuit base, presenting a refreshing flavour and rich textures. The peony flower is seen as a symbol of harmony and prosperity, same as the flavours of the desserts.
Available in two sizes at HKD 450 per 1.5-pound whole cake and HKD 53 per individual portion pastry. As a charitable initiative, 10% of the income from the sales of the pink cake will go to the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry.
