Ministry of Crab

Let the forks fly off the table

The best of Philippine and Sri Lankan flavours unite in the Manila outpost of this award-winning Sri Lankan seafood haven, Ministry of Crab. Founded by notable industry figures Dharshan Munidasa, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene, this Asia’s 50 Best Placer found its home in the Philippines and houses crab and prawn in varying sizes, including their signature 2-kilogram Crabzilla.

Ministry of Crab in Manila adapts most of the flagship’s original menu such as the Black Pepper and Garlic Chili crab, but makes use of the Philippine mud crab, prawns and other ingredients available locally. The Manila outpost also includes different interpretations on Filipino dishes such as the crab sisig and lumpiang ubod with crab.

Like all of Shangri-La at the Fort’s restaurants, Ministry of Crab – Manila adapts its own beverage program of rum-based cocktails highly inspired by sea travel and Sri Lanka.
