Nancy Farm started her stint as Edsa Shangri-La, Manila’s Director of Chinese Operations in 1995. She has started her career with the Shangri-La Group in 1986. Prior to her current position, Nancy joined Shangri-La Hotel, Penang, Malaysia as a hostess in Coffee Garden restaurant and climbed her way up to a supervisorial then managerial position in the hotel’s Shang Palace restaurant.

In 1995, Nancy Farm started her journey with Edsa Shangri-La, Manila’s Summer Palace team, bringing her accumulated wealth of experience in restaurant operations and management. With over 35 years in the Shangri-La Group, Nancy’s hard work, dedication, and commitment has earned her accolades from both within the Hotel as well as on the national level. Her excellent salesmanship and guest relations skill has also earned her positive commendation from the guests, as she treats each one of them as her VVIP. For years, the Summer Palace restaurant has been listed as one of the top restaurants in the metro.

Nancy Farm likens her service staff to actors and actresses, always on cue, lines remembered, movements plotted. But while all that seems studied, the attitude of genuinely “being of service” should shine through. And every day, Nancy Farm proves that.
