Edsa Shangri-La, Manila’s Executive Chef Scott Brands has more than 20 years of culinary experience working in five-star hotels  around the Middle East and Asia, including Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat; Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta; Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa; and China World Summit Wing.   

Over the past years, he has worked his way up from chef de cuisine to executive chef. Chef Scott, a native of Scotland, will oversee all culinary aspects of the property’s restaurants, focusing on consistently delivering high standards of food quality and elevating the dining experience with new and sumptuous offers to keep HEAT at the top of the list of all-day dining restaurants in the city.
