Taxi
Taxis are plentiful throughout Manila. They are a cheap and effective
way of reaching your destination quickly and on time. Most taxis are metered.
If a taxi is not metered, be sure to negotiate a price beforehand.
Public Transit
Metro Rail Transit
The MRT, or Metro Rail Transit, is a quick and convenient way to travel
across the city of Manila. Electronic cards may be bought from booths, with
prices varying based on distance. MRT prices go from PHP 10 – PHP 14. LRT
tickets are fixed at PHP 12.
Car Hire
Getting around the city in a car and a driver is a safe and comfortable
transport option. Cars can be rented with or without a driver at varying costs
depending on the vehicle. An international driving licence is required.
Valet parking is complimentary, as is parking in the hotel’s
underground garage.
