Taxis
Taxis are available in Lhasa city. It is usual for passengers travelling in the same direction to share a taxi, and each party pays for their distance.
The minimum price is CNY 10 for 5 kilometres, every extra kilometre costs CNY 2 in the city.
Buses
Operated by Yaxing bus by Jiangsu Yaxing Bus Co., Ltd., the bus system is both extensive and economical.
Rate is CNY 1 per person each time in the downtown area.
Rickshaws
Rickshaws are common near Potala Palace and other tourist attractions. A ride costs between CNY 10 and CNY 20 in the downtown area.
