Teppanyaki is a style of cooking in which the chef grills various cuts of seafood, meat and vegetables over a large iron hotplate (teppan), in front of the customer.

There is also shabu-shabu, which is a Japanese-style meat fondue, where thinly sliced meat is dipped into hot soup and then into ponzu vinegar or a sesame sauce.
