Chef Oriana Tirabassi
In a field largely dominated by men, dynamic lady chef Oriana brings her extensive years of experience to Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta. Before moving here, she won "Best Italian Restaurant of the Year 2010" at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
Her talent, passion and hard work granted her an exclusive position at A.P.E.S. in Milan, making her one of very few in Italy accorded the honour. She was also the first woman to win the Pizza World Championship in Las Vegas in 1994, and remains the only lady chef holding the honour to this day.
