Chef Hideki Chomei
Chef Hideki Chomei’s passion for food started at the age of five, when he helped his father, who owns a fish shop, to cut and sell fish. At that young age, his father taught him how to use a knife and make sashimi, and since then his infatuation with cooking has never stopped growing.
The humorous chef, who loves to cook kaiseki, a traditional eight-course Japanese chef’s menu, has now become the Japanese chef at Nishimura. During his leadership, Chef Chomei wishes to introduce the authentic taste of Japan to a wider range of customers in Jakarta.
