Shangri-La Home is where the heart is

Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot

“The Shangri-La Home” at Huhhot Children’s Welfare House opened in 2010 with the aim of taking care of 15 – 18 children aged 0-3 years old who have been abandoned by their families. Many of them suffer from disease or various disabilities. Since opening, the home has hired five nurses to take care of the housed abandoned babies ensuring they are well looked after during their tender early years. Today the Shangri-La Home has set a benchmark and model for other welfare projects in the region and has helped 60 children in three years.
