Sweet tidings

Alain Guillet joined Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, in 1992. He is responsible for all bakery and pastry items in the hotel’s restaurants, including the banquet service.

Under the leadership of Chef Guillet, Island Shangri-La was awarded the “Silver Award” in the Hong Kong International Culinary Classic, and the "Best Dish in Dessert" award in the Hong Kong Food Festival Culinary Award (Western Cuisine) Competition.

Prior to joining Island Shangri-La, Hog Kong, Chef Guillet worked at Regent of Bangkok Hotel in Thailand, Airport Meridien Hotel in Hong Kong, and various restaurants in France.
